Psalm 95 – 101

We are told that the Psalms constituted the first Christian hymn book. They provided early worshippers with ways for them to express praise, thanksgiving, frustration, hope or even a means to seek God’s help.

Psalms 95 -101 demonstrate this by reiterating the importance of music and song in spreading the message that God is all powerful, supreme, the maker of all. But they also remind us, that as people of his pasture, the flock under his care, he has expectations of our faithfulness and righteousness, in other words, our conduct, that he will judge when we seek salvation.
