Psalm 102

The Psalms are filled with expressions of emotion – despair, anger, anguish, loneliness, along with gratitude, wonder, peace and sheer joy. This Psalm records the prayer of an unnamed person who is greatly afflicted and pours out his heart to the Lord. It is often when we realize our weaknesses that God’s greatest strength becomes available. ( This Psalm is also quoted in Hebrews  1 : 10-12.

Praise is offered to God for the gracious way he relates to David, and for God’s great love for all who fear him.
