Regular Worship Has Resumed
Dear Friends,
I am writing a note to remind you that regular worship in St. Brice’s Church building has resumed. Services through the month of September 2020 are:
Sundays 9am Holy Communion (traditional)
11am Holy Communion (contemporary)
4pm Evening Prayer
Wednesdays 10am Holy Communion
4:30pm Evening Prayer.
We’d love to see you! Of course, we expect everyone to use common sense: If you feel ill, please do not risk spreading your bug to others. Please stay home, and come when you’re feeling better. If you need pastoral care, please contact the parish office.
I won’t review them all here, but we have taken a number of steps to ensure that the risk of spreading illness at St. Brice’s is very low indeed. We encourage you to re-join us if you can.
Sincerely, in Jesus’ love,
Peter Armstrong
Introduction
St. Brice’s Anglican Church is a friendly community where the Word of God and the love of Jesus Christ is preached, taught and shared in the power of the Holy Spirit. The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday, Wednesday and special holidays.
We invite you to visit us Sundays at 9 or 11 o’clock, or 10am on the first Sunday of the month. July & August we have a combined service at 10am, so please stay for coffee or lunch, or join us in our other activities.
Mission Statement
"The primary purpose of St. Brice's is to be a welcoming and nurturing community in whom the living Christ is seen. To do this, we must minister to all ages through prayer, scripture study, worship, and outreach.
"Above all, clothe yourselves with love,
which binds us all together in perfect harmony.
And whatever you do or say,
do it as a representative of the lord Jesus"
(Colossians 3: 14. 17 (NTL))
